| I am an Independent Celebrant and started my business – Avenue Celebrant Services – in January 2025. I love writing and hearing people’s stories, so it’s the perfect job for me. Writing someone’s story, whether it be for a Funeral, Life Celebration or Memorial, a Wedding Celebration, Vow Renewal or a Naming Ceremony, is such a privilege. It starts with a conversation and a blank page and we go from there. My core values are integrity, authenticity, kindness and loyalty. I have a full Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policy, which can be viewed on my website. I bring many skills to my role, including active listening, compassion and writing skills. It’s important to me to provide a service for people where they do not fear judgement. I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants (AOIC) and completed my Celebrancy Training with the Celebrant Coaching & Training Academy. I am also available for copy writing services.
