The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce welcomed 44 attendees to its July Business Breakfast at the Holiday Inn on Wednesday 1st July, with local businesses gathering for another morning of networking, referrals and relationship building.

The event also marked the first breakfast for two new Chamber members, Gavin Hughes from Alpha Connectivity and Mohamed Omar from Shinimini. We are delighted to welcome both businesses to the Chamber and look forward to seeing them at future events.

A special highlight of the morning was a visit from former Chamber Chair Mike Hawkins, who shared a few words about the evolution of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce. Mike reflected on how the Chamber has grown and adapted over the years while continuing to fulfil its core purpose of supporting local businesses and encouraging collaboration across the Brentwood business community.

As always, referrals were a key feature of the morning, with businesses recommending one another across a range of sectors.

This month’s referrals included:

  • Web Developer to Videographer
  • Restaurant to Mortgage Broker
  • Web Developer to Tree Surgeon
  • Golf Course to Tree Surgeon
  • Insurance Broker to Tree Surgeon
  • Local Authority to Celebrant
  • Funeral Director to Local Authority
  • EPOS Provider to Web Developer

These referrals demonstrate the real value of attending Chamber events. Every recommendation begins with trust, and every trusted introduction has the potential to become long-term business.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful breakfast. Whether you were visiting for the first time or are a regular attendee, your support helps make these events such a valuable part of Brentwood’s business community.
