When an invitation to an afternoon of food, drink and challenging games lands in your inbox how could we say no!
We had the absolute pleasure of being invited to the Holiday Inn, Brentwood, where they were hosting a fun packed afternoon to showcase the LGH London Region.
After a welcome drink at the bar, we were taken to the stunning seating area for afternoon tea (and bubbles). Our whole table agreed that the selection of sandwiches and cakes were some of the best we have experienced at an afternoon tea setting.
We were then taken to meet our GOTO Events team where we were put in teams of 4 or 5 to complete hands on, physical challenges, working together to complete the tasks and challenge the others! It was hilariously fun and we are pleased to say the Chamber girls took 1st place!!
Back to the bar for a cocktail making masterclass. We could choose from 3 different drinks and the head barman, Thomas was a fantastic tutor!
The amazing chef delivered once again, and the food was laid out ready for our ‘street food feast’. Well, we were spoilt for choice with a huge selection of gyoza’s, chips, burgers, pizza, fish, curry, rice and a build your own salad bar.
Safe to say we were well and truly looked after.
