The business must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months before closing date.

This award recognises sole traders and celebrates the tenacity and drive it takes to go it alone. Judges will be looking for you to demonstrate considerable progression, sound business planning and a sense of purpose for the future.

The sole trader will have shown consistent growth backed by a strong financial performance, whilst demonstrating a clear understanding of the markets that they operate in.

Your contact person must be available for our judges to conduct an “in person” interview during July or August. The interview may take place at your business premises or another convenient location.
