I am a Fellow member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) where I am engaged an assessor for one of the professional qualifications. I sit on the membership advisory panel which helps promote the benefits of membership and has an input into strategy.
Locally, I am a Trustee at Thames Chase Trust which is an environmental charity responsible for improving and maintaining landscapes in East London and Essex, mainly through regeneration by planting forests. As a volunteer I have assisted on HR related matters (review and recruitment) and also governance issues.

Why Brentwood Chamber of Commerce? -was recommended to me (Referral)and because i believe it supports and connect businesses and people together. It is the voice of business.
Roy TYZACK is a retired Police detective having spent over 25 years serving with the Metropolitan Police C.I.D. and Essex Police Major Investigation Team.
Following retirement, he spent 7 years as a Responder for east of England ambulance service before enhancing his skills to ‘pre-hospital care medic’ level and training to become a qualified first aid instructor, also gaining an award in education and training.
Since 2016, Roy has been operating as a qualified instructor, delivering a range of nationally recognised qualification courses to individuals, groups and corporate clients across a wide range of industries.
His courses are very reasonably priced and cover both adult and paediatric subjects from 1 hour basic life support to 3 day First aid at work and many courses are tailored to meet the needs of specific occupations including forestry workers, doctors, dentists, builders, childcare, teachers sportsmen and drivers.
Courses can be delivered in the workplace, at your home or at a local hired venue according to how many people require training at one time. This can be very useful for companies that only require one or two people trained as they can join in with others at a locally run training session.
Roy has been awarded a double citation from the Royal Humane Society for saving 2 lives within a 10 day period and also holds a National defibrillator award, a civic award from the Borough of Brentwood and an ‘Unsung hero’ award for services to the community. He is also a ‘Paul Harris fellow’ for ‘services to humanity’, awarded by Rotary International.
Roy carries comprehensive insurance and is fully ‘enhanced’ DBS cleared.
For larger groups and companies, Roy is able to call upon similarly trained and qualified colleagues and also works through an International organisation guaranteeing full back up services, ongoing support and regular monitoring of his own high standards.
Roy is also able to supply event medics for a wide range of events from music festivals and marathons to a village fete and everything in-between and is the chosen supply for Brentwood Borough council and other local organisations.
Years in business: since 2016.
I would like to join this organisation to widen my client base and to make new local contacts as I feel that I am missing out on local work that is being given to national, expensive training companies simply because local companies do not know of my existence. I personally know a few current members and was prompted to join by Sheila Murphy.
We now also offer Engleman Equity Release Services as a facility for our clients.
Offering a personalised customer service to help you improve your health from the inside out with our Aloe Vera based beauty, health and fitness products.

I am a mental health first aider and a qualified NLP Practitioner, I work alongside a number of incredible therapists educating others how to live a healthy, plant-based lifestyle that incorporates a complete holistic approach. This includes showing others how they can use pure grade therapeutic essential oils to replace toxic over the counter medication and the impact this can have on health.
Being part of this incredible group enables me to help a client on so many levels, we look at getting to the root cause of any health condition from mental disorders to autoimmune, digestive disorders, insomina, sinus problems, respiratory concerns and much more. A client of mine encounters so much more than just a session of NLP!
The reason I would like to join the commerce is to become part of a well respected organisation, to be guided by other members about how I can grow my business, I see it as an excellent opportunity to help me build a successful networking community, learning new skills, being exposed to a lot of professional relationships, the right kind of connections and I know that the skills and connections I have to offer will be an asset to your members.
I was asked to apply by Sally Sykes
